NEPSE rises by 13.51 points on Tuesday, showing a slight improvement in the market.
The benchmark index went up by 0.48%, closing at 2,812.34 points.
Among the traded companies, 132 companies gained, while 113 declined. The share prices of 17 companies remained unchanged, indicating mixed market performance.
Despite the overall rise, some sectors saw losses. These include finance, hotels and tourism, life insurance, microfinance, non-life insurance, trading, and others.
A total of 34.85 million shares were traded through 106,140 transactions during the day.
The total turnover was recorded at Rs 12.03 billion, which indicated active participation of the investors.
During the trading session, the shares of Reliance Spinning Mills Limited and Solu Hydropower Limited touched the 10 percent circuit value, which indicated active buying of these shares.
