Kathmandu: The foreign currency exchange rates for today have been released by Nepal Rastra Bank, showing the value of different currencies against the Nepali Rupee.
According to NRB, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 151.44, whereas the selling rate is Rs 152.04. The value of one Euro is being traded at Rs 174.04 for buying and Rs 174.73 for selling. The value of one UK pound sterling is being traded at Rs 200.52 for buying and Rs 201.32 for selling. The value of one Swiss Franc is being traded at Rs 189.48 for buying and Rs 190.23 for selling.
Other currencies such as the Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, and Singapore dollar are also fluctuating, with the purchasing power of these currencies fixed at Rs 103.87, Rs 108.79, and Rs 117.41 respectively.
Regarding Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen can be bought at Rs 9.49 and sold at Rs 9.53. Similarly, the Chinese currency can be bought at Rs 21.91 and sold at Rs 22.00. The Saudi riyal, Qatari riyal, and UAE dirham are also stable in the range of Rs 40-41.
The exchange rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 for purchasing and Rs 160.15 for selling.
According to NRB, these currency exchange rates can be changed at any time. Slightly different rates can also be offered by commercial banks.
