The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for Today Tuesday, setting the value of major international currencies against the Nepali rupee.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of 1 US dollar has been fixed at Rs 147.58, while the selling rate is Rs 148.18.
Among other major currencies, the Euro is being traded at Rs 169.34 for buying and Rs 170.03 for selling. Similarly, the UK Pound Sterling stands at Rs 195.82 (buying) and Rs 196.61 (selling), while the Swiss Franc is set at Rs 187.27 and Rs 188.03, respectively.
The exchange rate for the Australian dollar is Rs 104.04 (buying) and Rs 104.47 (selling), while the Canadian dollar is priced at Rs 107.85 and Rs 108.29. The Singapore dollar stands at Rs 115.38 for buying and Rs 115.85 for selling.
For Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen equals Rs 9.27 (buying) and Rs 9.30 (selling), while the Chinese yuan is set at Rs 21.40 and Rs 21.49. Similarly, the Saudi riyal is priced at Rs 39.33 and Rs 39.49, and the Qatari riyal at Rs 40.38 and Rs 40.54.
Other currencies include the UAE dirham at Rs 40.18 (buying) and Rs 40.34 (selling), the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 37.55 and Rs 37.70, and the Thai baht at Rs 4.55 and Rs 4.57.
Meanwhile, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
NRB has stated that these foreign exchange rates for today may be revised as needed, and the rates set by commercial banks may vary slightly.
