NEPSE closed as the Government of Nepal has declared public holidays for Bakar Eid and Republic Day on 14th and 15th Jestha, 2083. The stock exchange in Nepal will remain closed for two days due to these holidays.
As per the notice published, normal trading activities shall resume from Monday, Jestha 18, 2083, at 11:00 AM.
Bakar Eid is a very important celebration among Muslims. This celebration reflects the spirit of sacrifice, devotion, kindness, and sharing happiness with everyone.
Republic Day (Ganatantra Diwas) is observed every year as a token of celebration of the day when Nepal was transformed into a republic country with federal democratic structure. This celebration shows the importance of democracy, liberty, and power of people.
Investors and traders would not be able to buy or sell their shares on these two days due to public holidays.
