Kathmandu, March 10, 2026 – The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the official foreign exchange rates for Tuesday, which serve as the benchmark for the trading value of the world’s prominent currencies with respect to the Nepalese Rupee (NPR).
According to the NRB, one US dollar (USD) is being bought at Rs 147.43 and sold at Rs 148.03. Similarly, the Euro (EUR) has a buying rate of Rs 170.41 and a selling rate of Rs 171.11, while the British Pound (GBP) is priced at Rs 196.75 for buying and Rs 197.55 for selling.
Other popular currencies traded include the Swiss Franc (CHF), which is traded at Rs 189.19 (buying) and Rs 189.96 (selling), the Australian Dollar (AUD) traded at Rs 103.42/103.84, and the Canadian Dollar (CAD) traded at Rs 108.92/109.36.
These official foreign exchange rates serve as a reference for all banks and financial institutions in Nepal when exchanging foreign currencies.
