IPO of Beni Hydropower Project Limited is closing its issue today, Chaitra 15, 2082, for locals affected by its project in Solukhumbu district. The IPO of Beni Hydropower was opened on Chaitra 1, 2082, and it has reserved 10,40,000 shares for locals affected by its project.
The company’s issued capital amounts to Rs. 1.04 Arba, out of which 20% is allocated to the general public. Out of this allocated capital, 10% is allocated to locals affected by the project and another 10% to the general public, including 1,04,000 shares to Nepali citizens working abroad.
For locals affected by its project, the minimum application is 10 units, while the maximum application is 10,000 units. The IPO issue is being managed by NMB Capital Limited.
Beni Hydropower Project Limited was established in 2016 and is developing the Upper Solu Khola Hydropower Project, a run-of-river project with 18 MW capacity in Solukhumbu district. ICRA Nepal recently upgraded its issuer rating to BB+ from BB, reflecting a moderate financial risk profile.
