Today is the last day to apply for IPO of Yambaling Hydropower Limited through the initial public offering (IPO). The IPO started on April 29. Previously, shares were allotted to local people and Nepalese workers abroad.
The company will be distributing 40% of its capital amounting to Rs 700 million. That comes to 2.8 million shares. Among these, 700,000 shares have been allotted to locals, while 210,000 shares have been allocated to foreign-employed Nepalis. Now, there are 1,743,000 units priced at Rs 174.3 million available to the general public. One can subscribe to a minimum of 10 units and up to a maximum of 21,000 units.
The subscription process can be done through C-ASBA authorized banks or using MeroShare. The issue manager is Muktinath Capital Limited. CARE Ratings Nepal has rated this as BB-, indicating moderate risk.
Investors must apply before the deadline today.
