Kathmandu — The Government of India has given 223 vehicles to Nepal. This support is part of India Nepal election Support 2026 for the House of Representatives election on March 5, 2026. The handover took place at the Ministry of Home Affairs. Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava handed the vehicles to Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal.
This is part of India’s ongoing help. Earlier, 61 vehicles were given in the first phase and 254 in the second phase. 50 vehicles were also provided to the Nepali Army for security. Some election materials for the Nepal Police have already arrived. The rest are on the way.
Officials say this support will help conduct the elections smoothly and safely. It shows strong cooperation between India and Nepal.
