Kathmandu, Nepal — Beni Hydropower Project Limited will open its Beni Hydropower IPO on March 15, 2026. The company is offering 2,080,000 shares worth Rs 208 million.
Half of the shares (1,040,000) are reserved for people living in Solukhumbu District, where the project is located. There is also a 10 % quota for Nepalis working abroad, so they can participate in the IPO.
Investors can buy a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 10,000 shares. Local residents can apply until March 29, while Nepalis abroad have time until March 29 as well. Applications can be submitted through C‑ASBA banks or Meroshare.
The IPO has a BB+ rating from ICRA Nepal, which means it carries moderate risk. NMB Capital is managing the IPO.
This IPO is another opportunity for Nepali investors to invest in the country’s growing hydropower sector.
