Kathmandu, April 7, 2026 — Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) sets foreign exchange rates for today, April 7, with the US dollar buying rate fixed at Rs. 148.60 and selling rate at Rs. 149.20.
Among major currencies, the euro is being traded at Rs. 171.53 for buying and Rs. 172.22 for selling. Similarly, the UK pound sterling stands at Rs. 196.68 (buying) and Rs. 197.47 (selling), while the Swiss franc is set at Rs. 186.11 and Rs. 186.86, respectively.
The Australian dollar has been valued at Rs. 102.91 for buying and Rs. 103.32 for selling. Likewise, the Canadian dollar is priced at Rs. 106.76 (buying) and Rs. 107.19 (selling), and the Singapore dollar at Rs. 115.68 and Rs. 116.15.
In Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen is set at Rs. 9.31 for buying and Rs. 9.35 for selling. The Chinese yuan stands at Rs. 21.59 (buying) and Rs. 21.68 (selling).
Similarly, the Saudi riyal is fixed at Rs. 39.58 (buying) and Rs. 39.74 (selling), while the Qatari riyal is at Rs. 40.75 and Rs. 40.91, respectively.
Other exchange rates include Thai baht at Rs. 4.57 (buying) and Rs. 4.59 (selling), UAE dirham at Rs. 40.46 and Rs. 40.62, and Malaysian ringgit at Rs. 36.90 and Rs. 37.05.
Likewise, 100 South Korean won is valued at Rs. 9.88 (buying) and Rs. 9.92 (selling). The Swedish kronor stands at Rs. 15.78 and Rs. 15.84, while the Danish kronor is at Rs. 22.95 (buying) and Rs. 23.05 (selling).
The Hong Kong dollar is set at Rs. 18.96 (buying) and Rs. 19.04 (selling). Among Gulf currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs. 484.12 (buying) and Rs. 486.70 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at Rs. 394.16 and Rs. 395.76, and the Omani rial at Rs. 385.97 and Rs. 387.53.
Meanwhile, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs. 160 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.
NRB sets foreign exchange rates for today, April 7, which may be revised at any time as needed, and the rates set by commercial banks may differ slightly.
