Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official foreign exchange rates for today, March 9, 2026. These rates guide banks and money changers across the country.
The US dollar can now be bought at Rs 146.49 and sold at Rs 147.09.
The Euro is set at Rs 170.20 for buying and Rs 170.90 for selling. The British Pound Sterling is Rs 196.48 for buying and Rs 197.28 for selling.
The Indian Rupee remains steady at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling per 100 notes.

NRB says these rates may change during the day depending on global currency movements. Banks may offer slightly different rates, but NRB’s rates remain the standard reference.
