Nepal Rastra Bank has released the official foreign exchange rates for Friday, 20 February 2026. The Nepal exchange rates today show how much major foreign currencies cost in Nepalese rupees as fixed by the central bank.
The US dollar was set at NPR 144.78 for buying and NPR 145.38 for selling. The euro was fixed at NPR 170.57 to buy and NPR 171.28 to sell. The British pound sterling had a buying rate of NPR 195.08 and a selling rate of NPR 195.89. The Swiss franc was priced at NPR 187.04 for buying and NPR 187.82 for selling.
Other currencies also got new rates. The Australian dollar was valued at NPR 102.08 (buy) and NPR 102.50 (sell). The Canadian dollar was set at NPR 105.78 (buy) and NPR 106.21 (sell). The Singapore dollar had a buying rate of NPR 114.20 and a selling rate of NPR 114.68.
For Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen cost NPR 9.36 to buy and NPR 9.40 to sell. The Chinese yuan was at NPR 20.96 (buy) and NPR 21.04 (sell). The Saudi riyal was priced at NPR 38.60 to buy and NPR 38.76 to sell, and the Qatari riyal was at NPR 39.72 and NPR 39.89.
Smaller currencies were also included. The Thai baht was at NPR 4.64 (buy) and NPR 4.66 (sell). The UAE dirham was NPR 39.42 for buying and NPR 39.58 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit was NPR 37.04 to buy and NPR 37.20 to sell.
The Indian rupee continues its established valuation. 100 Indian rupees were fixed at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank says these foreign exchange rates can change if needed. It also noted that commercial banks may offer slightly different prices based on market demand.
