Today is the last day to apply for the Beni Hydropower IPO, which has been issued specifically for Nepali citizens working abroad.
The company opened the IPO on March 15 and is issuing 20% of its total issued capital worth Rs 1.04 billion to the general public. In total, 2,080,000 units of shares worth Rs 208 million will be distributed.
Out of the total public issue, 10% has been reserved for foreign migrant workers, which amounts to 10,000 units of shares worth Rs 10.5 million.
Interested applicants can apply for a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 10,000 units. Applications can be submitted through all C-ASBA-approved banks and financial institutions, as well as via the MeroShare platform.
The IPO has received a BB+ rating from ICRA Nepal, indicating moderate risk. The issue is being managed by NMB Capital.
As the deadline ends today, eligible foreign-employed Nepalis are advised to apply within the given timeframe to secure participation in this hydropower investment opportunity.
