Kathmandu: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released foreign exchange rates for today, April 17, Friday. The buying rate of the US dollar is fixed at Rs 148.82, whereas its selling price is fixed at Rs 149.42.
The buying and selling prices of the euro are Rs 175.40 and Rs 176.11, respectively, and those of the British Pound Sterling are Rs 201.60 and Rs 202.41, respectively. Similarly, the buying and selling prices of the Swiss Franc are Rs 189.94 and Rs 190.7
Apart from other main currencies, the price of the Australian dollar comes to Rs 106.73 and Rs 107.16, respectively. As far as the Canadian dollar is concerned, its price is Rs 108.38 and Rs 108.82 respectively, whereas the Singapore dollar is Rs 117.02 and Rs 117.
In Asian currencies, JPY 10 is equal to Rs 9.36 (buy) and Rs 9.40 (sell), whereas for Chinese Yuan, the rate is Rs 21.82 and Rs 21.91. For the Saudi riyal, the rate is fixed at Rs 39.67 and Rs 39.83, while for the Qatari riyal, the rate is Rs
Similarly, the exchange rate of the United Arab Emirates Dirham is fixed at Rs. 40.52 for buying and Rs. 40.68 for selling. The Thai Baht and Malaysian Ringgit have rates of Rs. 4.66, Rs. 4.68, Rs. 37.64, and Rs. 37.79, respectively.
The rate of the South Korean Won per hundred units is fixed at Rs. 10.08 for buying and Rs. 10.12 for selling. The rate of the Swedish Krona and Danish Krone is fixed at Rs. 16.22 and Rs. 23.47 for buying and Rs
Of the high-end currencies, the Kuwait Dinar has been valued at Rs 486.02 (buying rate) and Rs 487.98 (selling rate). The Bahraini Dinar has been valued at Rs 394.54 and Rs 396.13. The Omani Rial has been valued at Rs 386.54 and Rs 388.10.
On the other hand, Indian money (INR 100) has been set at Rs 160 for purchases and Rs 160.15 for sales.
According to NRB, foreign exchange rates could be adjusted anytime, and the foreign exchange rates offered by commercial banks might also differ a little bit.
