Kathmandu, NepalAnnapurna Machha Dana Udyog Limited (AMDU) has appointed Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited as the issue manager for its upcoming AMDU IPO Nepal. This is an important step as the company prepares to list on Nepal’s stock market.

AMDU IPO Nepal Plan

AMDU decided to go public after approval at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in December 2025. The company will offer 10,09,53,100 shares to the public. Final details will be confirmed after approval from Nepal’s market regulator.

The CEO of AMDU, Yash Puri, and CEO of Laxmi Sunrise Capital, Bijay Lal Shrestha, signed the agreement. Laxmi Sunrise Capital will manage the IPO and help AMDU sell its shares.

Company Growth and Vision

Chairperson Niranjan Thapa said the IPO will help the company grow and improve transparency. “This step will allow more people to invest in our company. It will also help farmers and producers in Nepal,” he said.

AMDU is based in Khairahani, Chitwan. It makes fish feed under the brand Matsya Roja, which is popular for its quality. The company uses modern European technology to produce its products.

Significance for Nepal’s Market

The AMDU IPO Nepal is important for the country’s stock market. It can encourage other agricultural and fish-feed companies to go public. A successful IPO will help AMDU expand production and strengthen the supply chain.

In July 2025, AMDU received Rs 216.8 million from investors, which helped the company increase local production and reduce imports.
