The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) says about 110 LPG tankers arrive from India each day. They supply around 40,000 cylinders daily in the Valley. Still, high demand and delivery delays make it hard for people to get gas. NOC has added 2,000 extra tonnes of LPG to help.
The Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection is checking distributors. They want to stop hoarding and unfair prices. People are asked to report any problems.
