The cost of gold in Nepal has climbed closer to the Rs. 3 lakh per tola. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported that the cost of gold rose by Rs. 2,700 per tola on Sunday.
Due to this growth, pure gold now costs Rs. 299,200 per tola, up from Rs. 296,500 per tola. This indicates a continued positive trend in the local gold market.
Likewise, the price of Tejabi gold has also increased by Rs. 2,700 per tola. Now it costs Rs. 298,500 per tola, whereas on Friday its price was Rs. 295,800 per tola
Silver prices, too, have seen an increase, just like those of gold. There was an increase of Rs. 50 in the price of silver, resulting in its price becoming Rs. 4,995 per tola from Rs. 4,945 per tola.
The current rise in gold and silver prices indicates continued uncertainty in the precious metals market.
