Kathmandu: The Nepal Budget 2083/84 will be unveiled by Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle today in an assembly of the Federal Parliament.
The Nepal budget 2083/84 announcement will take place at 4:00 PM on Friday, Jestha 15, which is also Republic Day.
It is the first full budget of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) government, formed following the elections held on March 5.
The government has made it clear that the budget is prepared considering its reforms and governance plans. Suggestions from stakeholders have also been taken into consideration.
However, the proposal for the total amount that would be allocated in the upcoming fiscal year had already been given by the National Planning Commission, which set a budget limit of Rs 1.89 trillion.
It is believed that this year’s budget will be made transparent, efficient in expenditure, and conducive to improving the economy.
The previous budget was revealed at approximately Rs 1.964 trillion but was decreased to Rs 1.688 trillion when a new government took over.
The official date of presenting the budget in Nepal began from Jestha 15 since the Constitution of Nepal 2072 BS.
The budget announcement is being observed by various investors and firms due to economic policies.
