Kathmandu, April 13, 2026: NRB Fixes Foreign Exchange Rates for Today. According to the announcement made by the country’s central bank, one dollar can be bought at a price of Rs. 148.07 and sold at a price of Rs. 148.67.
Other important foreign currencies have also been fixed at a rate of Rs. 173.54 buy and Rs. 174.24 sell for Euro; Rs. 199.33 buy and Rs. 200.14 sell for UK Pound Sterling; Rs. 187.63 buy and Rs. 188.39 sell for Swiss Franc.
Australian Dollar has been quoted at Rs. 104.57 (buying) and Rs. 104.99 (selling), whereas Canadian Dollar has been quoted at Rs. 106.98 (buying) and Rs. 107.41 (selling). Similarly, the Singapore Dollar has been quoted at Rs. 116.23 and Rs. 116.70 for buying and selling.
Asian Currencies – Japanese Yen (10 units) has been quoted at Rs. 9.30 (buying) and Rs. 9.33 (selling), whereas Chinese Yuan has been quoted at Rs. 21.69 (buying) and Rs. 21.77 (selling). The Indian Rupee (100 units) has been quoted at Rs. 160.
Likewise, the Saudi Arabian riyal can be bought for Rs. 39.46 and sold for Rs. 39.62 while the Qatari riyal is available for purchase at Rs. 40.62 and can be sold for Rs. 40.78 whereas the UAE dirham can be bought for Rs. 40.31 and can be sold for Rs. 40.47.
There are other currencies too, like the Thai baht, which can be bought for Rs. 4.62 and sold for Rs. 4.64, the Malaysian ringgit at Rs. 37.34 and Rs. 37.50, while the South Korean won (per 100) can be bought for Rs. 9.97 and sold for Rs. 10.01.
According to NRB, these rates are liable to change according to the conditions in the market.
