Kathmandu, January 7, 2026 – Nepal will host one of its biggest AI events, AI Conference 2026, on January 10 and 11 in Kathmandu. The event will gather international AI experts, engineers, and local tech leaders.
The AI conference 2026 is organized by Web Weekend Kathmandu (WWKTM). It will focus on real-world AI applications, practical deployments, and future AI in businesses. Over 400 participants are expected. Speakers include global experts and Nepalese innovators.
Topics include generative AI, workflow automation, AI security, and human-centered intelligence. Experts from Spain, the U.S., Hong Kong, and other countries will speak. Nepal-based professionals will also share local AI projects.
The list of speakers includes Vlad Dyachenko, who will speak on AI for programming, and Amit Timalsina, speaking on AI for medical reviews. The remaining topics include LLM Design, AI Security, Figma Make, Copilot, and many more.
Notable panels include “Who Owns AI in the Company?”, in which AI responsibility in the engineering, product, legal, and leadership functions of a company will be addressed.
The event will help Nepalese technical experts meet global AI experts. Nepalese engineers will be able to showcase their work while learning from international speakers.
There is also a community hike in the Kathmandu Valley. This allows participants to network and collaborate informally.
