Kathmandu, January 26, 2026 – The gold price per Tola in Nepal has reached a record high. On Monday, the gold price per Tola reached Rs 309,000, or 11.66 grams. This is the record high gold price in Nepal. The price of gold has risen due to the increasing demand for gold in Nepal.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, Gold jumped by Rs 5,200 in one day. On Sunday, the Gold price per Tola in Nepal was Rs 303,800. Last Friday it was Rs 301,400. This steady rise shows strong buying in the gold market.
Silver also rose. On Monday, silver was sold at Rs 6,765 per tola, up from Rs 6,480 on Sunday and Rs 6,190 last Friday. Traders say silver demand is also increasing.
Many buyers are watching gold prices closely. Traders say people buy gold as a safe investment when the prices of other things change fast. The new record may have implications for weddings, savings, and investment decisions in Nepal.
