Kathmandu, January 25, 2026 — The prices of gold and silver have reached all-time highs in Nepal today. This is big news for traders and investors.
According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold is now Rs 303,800 per tola. It was Rs 301,400 per tola on Friday. This is an increase of Rs 2,400 per tola.
At the same time, silver is trading at Rs 6,480 per tola, up from Rs 6,190 per tola in the last session.
The rise in prices follows global trends. International gold is around US $4,987 per ounce, and silver is about US $103 per ounce.
According to experts, the reasons for rising prices of gold and silver are due to high local demand, changes in world markets, and inflation concerns. The wedding and festival seasons similarly drive up the demand for gold and silver in Nepal.
This all-time price indicates that the metals are still a safe haven for investment. Traders and buyers alike are now closely watching to determine an appropriate time at which to buy or sell.
