The gold price today in Nepal jumped sharply. Fine gold increased by Rs 14,400 per tola, reaching Rs 3,04,700 per tola in the domestic bullion market, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
Silver prices also moved up. The metal gained Rs 265 per tola and is now trading at around Rs 5,600 per tola.
This rise adds to the recent upward trend in precious metal prices. Gold had already been trading near record levels before this latest increase.
