Kathmandu – Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the official NRB Currency Rates Today. These exchange rates are employed in the banking, financial, and foreign exchange institutions within the country.
The US Dollar (USD) is set at Rs. 145.27 for buying and Rs. 145.87 for selling. The Euro (EUR) is Rs. 170.36 for buying and Rs. 171.06 for selling, while the British Pound (GBP) is Rs. 195.56 for buying and Rs. 196.36 for selling. Other currencies include the Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Singapore Dollar, Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan, Saudi Riyal, Qatari Riyal, and the Indian Rupee.
These are used in imports, exports, remittances, and foreign exchange markets. Though commercial banks may provide a slightly different rate, NRB’s rate acts as a standard reference to the market.
This, therefore, provides for daily updates, which both market watchers and investors are advised to follow. This is because a fluctuation in currency may make business costs and trends at the Stock Market change.
