Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official NRB foreign exchange rates for Sunday, February 22, 2026. The central bank sets these rates to guide currency trading and help commercial banks in Nepal.
According to the NRB’s latest rates, the buying price of one US dollar is Rs 145.28, and the selling price is Rs 145.88. The euro is valued at a buying rate of Rs 170.92 and a selling rate of Rs 171.63.
For other major currencies, the UK pound sterling has a buying rate of Rs 195.74 and a selling rate of Rs 196.54. The Swiss franc’s buying price is Rs 187.19, and its selling price is Rs 187.97.
Among Asian and other currencies, the Australian dollar is bought at Rs 102.45 and sold at Rs 102.87, while the Canadian dollar’s buying rate is Rs 106.16 and selling rate is Rs 106.59. The Singapore dollar trades at Rs 114.50 on the buy side and Rs 114.97 on the sell side.
The rate for 10 Japanese yen is set with a buying price of Rs 9.36 and a selling price of Rs 9.40. The Chinese yuan’s buying rate is Rs 21.03, and its selling rate is Rs 21.12.
For Middle Eastern currencies, the Saudi Arabian riyal is bought at Rs 38.73 and sold at Rs 38.89, while the Qatari riyal is bought at Rs 39.88 and sold at Rs 40.05.
Other foreign exchange rates that are fixed by the central bank include the Thai baht, UAE dirham, Malaysian ringgit, Swedish krona, and Danish krona, with updated buy and sell rates.
NRB Foreign Exchange rates are useful to banks and exchange operators when charging for foreign exchange transactions. The actual exchange rates at commercial banks may be slightly different.
