Varun Chaudhary represented Nepal at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, held in India. He is the Managing Director of CG Corp Global and the only representative from Nepal who was invited to the summit.
The summit was organized to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on society. Leaders, policymakers, and technology experts from many countries attended the program to discuss how AI is shaping the future.
During the summit, Chaudhary spoke about Nepal’s growing technology sector. He said the country is slowly building strong digital skills and improving its IT capacity.
He also talked about young people in Nepal. According to him, many young Nepalis are learning new digital and AI skills. They are eager to work with global companies and take part in the digital economy.
Chaudhary said Nepal has a capable and affordable IT workforce. This, he said, gives the country a good chance to work with international technology firms and support global projects.
He highlighted the need for closer cooperation between Nepal and India in the field of artificial intelligence. He said strong ties between the two countries can help create better technology partnerships.
Chaudhary also said artificial intelligence must be used responsibly. He emphasized the significance of using AI ethically so that technology benefits people and society.
Nepal’s presence at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 indicates that it is increasingly recognized in international technology forums. It is believed that such participation will help Nepal attract more investments in the future.
