Shikhar Power Development has given the local people an additional extension for the IPO subscription period.
The deadline for subscription to the Shikhar Power Development Limited IPO is extended for the project, affected local people of Baglung District, Nepal until 8 Falgun 2082 (Feb 20, 2026). The purpose is to grant the locals a longer time period to subscribe to the shares allotted to them.
The company originally opened its IPO issuance on Magh 6, 2082 (Jan 20, 2026). It offered 980,000 shares equal to 10% of its total issued capital to locals affected by the project, based on the Environmental Impact Assessment Report and the power generation license.
Applicants must apply for at least 10 shares and can request up to 10,000 shares. The IPO is being managed by Global IME Capital Limited.
Earlier, the IPO also offered 222,000 shares to Nepalis working abroad under the first phase, but that category closed earlier based on demand.
