Kathmandu, January 29, 2026 – The exchange rates for today have been declared by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB). The value of the US Dollar (USD) is Rs. 146.56 for buying and Rs. 147.16 for selling. The value of the Euro (EUR) is Rs. 175.42/176.14, and the value of the British Pound (GBP) is Rs. 201.89/202.71. The value of the Indian Rupee (INR) is Rs. 160 for every 100 INR. Other exchange rates of major currencies such as Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, and Chinese Yuan were also updated.
The exchange rates announced by the NRB have a significant impact on the daily transactions, remittances, imports, exports, and the stock market.
